TekSource is currently seeking a part-time Project Manager/Coordinator for a long term three day per week engagement in a contract or term employee capacity with the possibility to move to fulltime within a one year period. The semi-technical resource is required to work closely with the IT manager and coordinate all employees training and IT projects. Eligible candidates are to take projects and items that aren’t purely IT, coordinate with all stake holders and manage the projects through to successful completion.
Current projects that are in progress include:
- Accounting Software replacement - Elite from Thomson Reuter experience, in this project a co-ordinator of the stake holders, internal and external
- Internal Oracle Database application rewrite (Programmer/dba on staff so no coding is required, only management and coordination of the project)
- Internal Training/new employee intros
Requirements:
- Experience in coordinating employee training with external vendor
- Candidate must be a self starter with excellent organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Helpdesk experience dealing with desktops
- Technical in the sense of translating English end objectives into a semi-tech speak
- Experience in writing and coordinating software projects, including Oracle projects
